Almost perfect Only thing missing is the possibility to rate the songs 1 to 5 stars and read the embedded rating that my songs already have Many PC players like clementine have this implemented I don t know why no phone player has it Clementine also writes on the file the statistics like play count skip count etc It d be cool to have these minor things synchronized as I listen on PC clementine and phone blackplayer But I guess this last thing is asking too much P                 Pericles Carvalho

I love this app If you are a sucker for costumizing the look of your music player then you will most definitely love it The paid version is totally worth it If i may make a comment tho it seems to me that the volume of the music is lower when i play it compared to the volume when i play it on my built in music player                     Carissa Posion

I have had my music deleted from my phone by this app twice It deleted albums randomly and then begins to remove artist images and album covers as I m using it Edit Once I cleared the cache my music came back The album cover art didn t come back but at least the music did I don t know why the app hides the files after it reaches a certain amount of megabytes around 200MB in the cache                 Jonathan Lopez

I ve been using this app for quite some time and there is nothing bad about it In fact it is the best music player app that I ve used except for one thing which irritated me the most which is the scroll bar Whenever I tried to scroll my library I will always accidentally tapped on the scroll bar and it will slide up down I could really appreciate if the developer could put a function to disable the scroll bar in the app                 Luqman Hakim

Love the app first off Used it forever Just out of the blue it can t read my sd card Listening to music and it just shuts off My Playlists and recently played music is still there and accessible but my library and recently added tracks are gone Says No tracks found put music files on SD card How do I fix it I have music and my sd card is intact EDIT I foud my music but only if I change the default Audio Library settings Took off my album images and erased my blacklist Still help                 Fishman Jesus

BlackPlayer became my new favorite music player after a day of use I had previously used Poweramp and then Gonemad for years but BlackPlayer offers some great features I could not pass up What sold me is the great use of artwork in the various views the customization and the fact that you can view different groupings under Genre artist albums or tracks Also the Play Now view is great it adds some fun categorizations and stats that bring some extra life to my music collection and the ability to pin albums and artists is awesome I buy a lot of music and this lets me highlight albums I need to spend time listening to                     Randy Dahl

This app is really good offering a host features that give lots of possibilities for customization There are two things that I m missing though admittedly both are luxury problems First there is no search function for the SETTINGS With so many different settings to choose from it s often difficult to find exactly what I m looking for Second there appears to be no way to upload new album covers to the existing album cover library                     A Google user

I m only giving this app a 4 star because of two things First it s not support on Android Auto like the older version Hopefully that s changes because I love this app Second it s doesn t update the playlist 5 10 of the time It s like you have to import your tracks in a certain way in order to customize your playlists Luckily it doesn t do it often and I know my way around it but when it happens it s annoying and tedious Other than that those two complaints I really like app                 J10.aviationuniverse

Very awesone music player Works great and i love the dark theme Very easy on the eyes Also another feature is the Visualizer It brings me back to the Windows XP Days with Media Player You can play your music and have really cool effects dance and move to music Lines Colors shapes all sorts of stuff That s a feature that has long been lost since and you added that back to your music app I Love It Keep adding more effefts if you can What a great overall App So easy to use in my mind                     Nightdog_18

BlackPlayer EX is the most customizable and advanced music player I have used Almost everything works exactly as you want but minor fixes are still needed to perfect the user experience Album and artist art is one department I ve had trouble with specifically getting the art to download automatically The auto download artist images option was removed and theres no efficient or good way to get artist images                 Edward Liu

Great player but could handle Playlists a bit better I create playlists on my computer then export to m3u and upload to my Samsung Tab S4 and Galaxy S9 and other devices With Black Player since there s no way to Refresh Update playlists that I can see I have to delete the existing then re import the updated ones On my tablet the import goes fairly fast but the phone takes a very long time                 Mike G

Love it Plenty of customization good functionality I just wish that there was a feature that allowed you to play a song for a specific amount of times and then play the next in the playlist Also tracks from blacklisted folders still show up when you re adding tracks in playlists                     Mister Procrastination

Overall I like the app and find it to have many useful features One fatal flaw of it however is with importing playlists Some songs in the playlist will be swapped out with a different song of a similar name from somewhere else in your library despite having set the filepath within the playlist file to a completely different location in my folders I ve tried this with both M3U and M3U8 but both produce the same exact results I d go into further detail if not for this character limit         Nicholas Lenz

It was amazing before the last update now it s being a hell to listen my songs because it stops playing in the middle of the song and when I pick a song it has a great delay to play it And when we try to choose an artist pic it just show us pic of their album s cover and not of the artists please fix it         KJASSYEH'S Channel

I have no problems with this before when I use Huawei P20 Pro When I switched to Mi 9 however there is a noticeable delay on the album image when swiping tracks on Now Playing with or without the Carousel Effect toggled on Please address this issue                 William Noces

Used the free version for 2 years which was fine However just got a new phone and after installing the free version it wasn t loading any of my saved playlists after transferring them over so I bought this full version It loads the playlists if you do it manually but you have to do that EVERY TIME you open up the app There is no way I m going to doing that Also keeps losing all of the artist and album images everytime I closed the app Will uninstall and request a refund Stay away     Alexander Jackson

Great app worth the money But one thing I dont like is that whenever I try to set manually an Artist image instead of Artist images it shows the album covers of that artist to set no Artist image is there only album covers I am not able to artist image Please look forward to this problem and solve it Then I ll give you 5 stars Thanks                 Siddhant Mathu

Broad strokes it s a fantastic music player with very few issues My only complaints the swipe down from the top menu view happens all the time when I m trying to swipe down my android shade on the phone extraordinarily annoying When using it in android auto I WISH there was an Add to favorites button I shuffle a large library while driving and would love to be able to come back to good tracks easily                     Kent Robison

It s great but it has problems that make it not great How do I get rid of all the files that shouldn t be there It lists a bunch of audio files that aren t music at all and i don t see any menu option that s the equivalent of telling the app Hey this is a podcast stop listing it I would really appreciate if such a feature was added or if someone could let me know if the feature already exists             Guillaume Philibert

Finally a music player that allows you to manually set album art I ve got a lot of old rap mixtapes that never properly import the album art automatically meaning an app like this is a godsend One small complaint is that it can only grab images from an online directory or from the gallery can t navigate directly using file manager which isn t ideal but this app is still lightyears ahead of the competition                     Wolffe Crowe

Apps that I ve paid for are far and few but this is most definitely one that is worth it Had the free version for a while after looking for a music player that could change the all the metadata and this one fit the bill Ended up keeping it and eventually upgrading because gosh darn is this player good Supports all my audio formats great customization and I ve encountered no problems at all eith either version since I ve first got them Definitely worth paying for one of the best                     Christopher Del Rio

I am enjoying the app The only problem that I have is that when I go to another playlist and click SHUFFLE PLAY the shuffle will turn off until such time I will click the shuffle button manually Or if I will select one song from the list shuffle will also turn off Please fix this                 Carl Animeo

Used to be a good music player Constant issues with the free and paid version lagging crashing not saving data You name common issues with an app this one has it Given it too many chances in the past and I m sad to not be supporting this any longer The thing I will be missing is the clean interface everything else other music apps do better     Dave Davidson

I brought the paid version of this app and am not satisfied The manually search for artists feature is useless as it doesn t show artist inages but shows album inages instead Its a simple bug to fix but they haven t fixed it yet And whenever i play music via my headphones on a low volume for half a second initially it plays blaringly loud full volume and then plays at the volume which i have set That hurts my ears Please fix this Otherwise a great app     Vihang Vaidya

Now it doesn t find all the songs in a album I have checked play music and this finds all the tracks Please explain why it cannot find all the tracks in an album Edit since found lost tracks in with the single tracks so able to make a playlist Never had this problem with the standalone blackplayer Please fix Tried your fixes one put tracks into to totally different albums so reverted back and lost all my playlists thanks         Stu Gavin

Love this app and have been using it for years My issue is I recently upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S10 and I ve noticed that the custom BlackPlayer lockscreen doesn t display the album art correctly anymore It shows the blurred album art in the background but it doesn t show the main album art just the grey blank icon I ve used the repair album cover options in settings and it fixes the issue temporarily before it reverts back to the grey icon I love the custom lockscreen so please fix it     John Smith

Black player ex by fifth source is THE best music player out there Been using it for two years now It is so user friendly that it feels as if it was custom made for my everyday use One thing I d like them to bring back is the swipe gesture for the sidebar menu it was so convenient but they discarded it in the updates for some reason                     Mr P

Love the app only one thing Album art can no longer be anchored to the top of the screen The only way you can get it to is with the fill height option but it cuts off the sides Will we be able to achor full size album art in future updates with the progress bar being right under the album art etc                 Zeina El Sayed
